Hey there!
I’m Freya Parker, a third year university student, studying Art and The Environment. My artistic practise is full of mixed media, from Video, Sound, Drawing, painting and sculpting.
Creating has been a passion of mine since i was a child, from receiving my first “real” sketch book from my grandad at age 4. Through to primary and secondary art education, to now.
I believe there is art everywhere, everything can be felt passionate about. My love for mushrooms and other “not so mainstream” beings, like spiders and plants has incorporated itself within almost all of my work. Along side my automatic response to use certain traumatic and emotional times i have faced as an influence for my artwork and use this as process for understanding my mental state.
