My personal interest in the environment has shifted my art work to making a difference.
I have been watching many documentaries at the moment, typically about mushrooms and North Korea.
I have not created any art work, as of yet but i am currently in the process of reading critical work and researching the horrific situations that our planet and people are in.
Words are powerful and i believe that by using them correctly, the world could be a different place. Maybe even a better one……
Where everything is cared for and understood. A place in which individuals are treated correctly and differences are embraced.
I read once in a world health manifesto that the main reason the world has not evolved for good is because everyone distances themselves from others. If someone has a different way of life, instead of embracing it, we become cold and uncomfortable (as a whole)
I believe if we all realised the deep connections we have with the Earth and each other then the world would become a much easier place to live. A place with real empathy and consideration to all.
I am definitely looking forward to creating art on these topics and seeing if they make a difference to the world and others in anyway.
